The OEL Series has a NiCd battery backup power supply that provides at least 90 minutes of emergency runtime in the event of an emergency power failure.

The thermoplastic housing of the Office Emergency Light is flame retardant and the square heads each contain 8 long-lasting bright white LEDs (16 diodes in total). The units consume only 1.1 watts of power per cycle when activated and use virtually no power when AC current flows through the circuit. Best of all, you'll never need to replace a bulb for the entire life of the unit! The OEL Series is a modern-looking fixture that offers a variety of mounting options (including a universal bracket) for mounting on walls or ceilings.

Unlike the old-fashioned emergency lights you're used to, LED emergency lighting units do not contain bulky, short-lived sealed lead-acid batteries. They use long-life nickel-cadmium (NiCad) batteries and are much cheaper to replace than SLAs. These small lights will run for at least 90 minutes when the power is off (although the actual run time is much longer.) GODSON is UL Listed for wet locations, so virtually any indoor or outdoor (with adequate protection from sun, rain, and snow) application will do.
